Michelle Atallah

Michelle Atallah, PhD (she/her) is an alumni of the Cancer Biology doctoral program at Stanford. She was a member of the Mallick and Engleman labs, and her research focused on mapping out interactions between components of the immune system. Michelle graduated from Yale as a Biology major, and has worked in both basic and clinical research studying cancer, immunology, autoimmune diseases, and rare diseases. Michelle has extensive experience working with students through past roles as a peer counselor at the Yale Career Center, writing tutor at Stanford’s Hume Center, TA for BIO42, and summer counselor for the Stanford Summer Research Program. She is passionate about being a lifelong learner and enjoys studying learning strategies and sharing them with others. As a graduate student at Stanford, Michelle was a member of the inaugural cohort of the Peer Learning Consultant Program and served as Lead Learning Consultant and Peer Academic Coach. She is currently the Special Projects Manager where she continues to support student learning by developing novel resources and projects.
