What can I find at these study halls?
-4 Hour blocks of dedicated study time
-Short tips for keeping you productive, motivated, organized, and successful
-Space for meeting new people in person
-Accountability partners
-Periodic check-ins to make sure you are on track to reach your goals
-Snacks and beverages including coffee and tea.
What are collaborative learning spaces and how are they different from study halls?
-2 hour blocks of dedicated work time
-Space to work collaboratively with others to make progress on long-term projects such as honors theses or a class project that spans multiple weeks or the entire quarter
-Structured in Pomodoro-style sessions to help you improve your focus and motivation
Who are study halls for? What about the collaborative learning spaces?
-Any and all Stanford students. Please avoid grading, emails, social media, and the like during study halls.
-Please note that we often offer special Virtual Study Halls for graduate students only.
When do study halls and collaborative learning spaces take place?
-Study halls take place almost every weekend of autumn, winter, and spring quarters.
-Collaborative learning spaces are less frequent and take place once or twice a quarter in the evenings (usually 6-8 PM) on weekdays.

Where do these study halls and collaborative learning spaces take place?
-All in-person study halls and collaborative learning spaces take place at CTL's office space in 408 Panama Mall.
-Please note that there may be limited pilot study halls that take place on Zoom.
Will there be snacks and beverages?
-Yes, we provide light snacks at every study hall and collaborative learning space, as well as coffee (including decaf) and tea. If you prefer to bring your own snacks or meal, you are welcome to.
