Jia Lin
Jia Lin (they/them) is a sophomore at Stanford University, double majoring in Design (AI + Digital UX) and MS&E, with a minor in Data Science. As a first-generation, low-income student, Jia is passionate about community engagement and inclusivity. On campus, they are involved in the Asian American Activities Center and Alpha Kappa Delta Phi sorority. Jia has contributed to social good through initiatives like Design for America and the Design Kids. They've designed a mental health database for Thrive Scholars and developed an app to help parents reserve food at food banks. In the Peer Learning Consultant Program, Jia applies their skills in user-centered design and strategic consulting to support students from diverse backgrounds. In their free time, Jia enjoys composing music, photography, and making art.
