Sharon Njeri
Sharon Njeri (she/her) is currently a second year Master’s student in Aeronautics and Astronautics. Sharon focuses on advanced spacecraft systems and human spaceflight challenges. She holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University, where she developed a strong foundation in engineering principles.
Previously, Sharon worked as a Spacecraft Systems Engineer at NASA, contributing to major projects such as the ISS and Gateway Program. This hands-on experience in tackling complex problems inspired her passion for academic support and mentoring. Additionally, she completed the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Executive Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business, refining skills in business strategy and innovative problem-solving.
Motivated by her own experiences in high-pressure environments and a commitment to empowering others, Sharon joined the Peer Learning Consultant Program to help fellow students develop effective study habits, manage academic stress, and achieve their goals. She is interested in supporting all students, especially those navigating complex academic challenges.
Sharon is excited to leverage her background in both engineering and business to foster a supportive learning environment at Stanford. She looks forward to working with peers to enhance their academic success and personal growth.
