Biology Appointment Tutors
Morgan Dorsey, Biology

Hi, y'all! My name is Morgan Dorsey, and I'm a senior pursuing a major in psychology with a minor in biology. Throughout my academic journey, biology has always been my favorite subject in school, fueling my curiosity about the intricate workings of life. I am currently on the pre-medicine track, aiming to merge my passion for understanding the mind and body. I am an East Coast baby at heart, originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina. Growing up, I was instilled with a deep sense of connection and the desire to give back. My chosen path is driven by my desire and commitment to helping others and making a positive impact on my community. I'm enthralled by the profound influence that mindset can have on physical health, and I'm eager to explore how our thoughts and behaviors shape our overall well-being. Unraveling the mysteries of the mind and delving into the causes and motivations of our thoughts and behaviors is my passion. In my free time, I like to do photography and draw, capturing life moments that tell stories. Listening to music with my headphones on with a smoothie in my hand, while reading the latest John Grisham mystery, is my true, happy relaxation place. I certainly can't forget to include my fur babies--Vinnie and Bella! I love spending my down time with them, because I just find their presence and energies to be truly magical and comforting. I am super excited about the opportunity to work with y'all, and I'm really looking forward to meeting all of you!
Chemistry Appointment Tutors
Anoushka Rao, Chemistry

Hello hello!! I'm Anoushka, a senior majoring in Human Biology and minoring in Human Rights! In my free time, I love to geek out over the entire NYTimes Games section (especially Letter Boxed), have deep conversations about epistemology with friends, and attempt to reenact the Great British Baking Show in my own kitchen. I am so excited to be an Appointment tutor for Chemistry this year, and I can't wait to meet you :) Before that though, let's address the chem-ephant in the room: chem classes at Stanford. They're tough, they're stressful, and they sometimes make you want to cry (internally or externally, no judgement). But you are not alone! Don't hesitate to make an appointment with me--we'll talk through problems, help address any conceptual challenges or areas of improvement, and help you learn in a way that works for you!
Aaron Libed, Chemistry

Howdy! I'm Aaron, a junior from Dallas, Texas, studying Bioengineering. My interests lie in the intersection of faith and medicine. In my free time, I enjoy powerlifting, golfing, dining out with friends, and devoting time to prayer at church. I won't sugarcoat it. Chemistry was challenging for me, but I managed to develop skills and techniques to make things click, and I'm here to help you find the same clarity and appreciation for chemistry that I never thought I'd have.
Caitlynn Tran, Chemistry

Hi! My name is Caitlynn, and I am a junior studying chemistry and psychology from the Bay Area. Outside of academics, I enjoy eating good food, dancing, and spending too much time scrolling on TikTok. Looking forward to working with you!
Crystal Chen, Chemistry

Hi! My name is Crystal, and I am a senior from Southern California. I’m majoring in Human Biology with a concentration in neurobiology of behavior and development. While this may sound crazy, I’ve come to enjoy the elegance within the chaos and struggles of chemistry classes — it's fascinating how our bodies depend on basic chemical principles to thrive. Outside of classes, I love volunteering at Pacific Free Clinic, playing NYT word games, taking film photos, coffee, and playing the piano. I’m excited to work with you!
Dylan MacFarlane, Chemistry

What's up! My name is Dylan MacFarlane and I am a senior from Southern California. I am a Bioengineering major and have taken chemistry for the pre-med core. In my free time I can usually be found lifting, swimming, or binging the latest shows on Netflix or HBO. As someone who heard (and experienced) all the horror stories about chemistry myself, I totally understand how scary and difficult those classes can be and I'd love to share all the tricks that helped me get more comfortable and confident in chemistry so you can be too.
Eric Markarian, Chemistry

Nick Panyanouvong, Chemistry

Hi there! My name is Nick Panyanouvong, and I'm a senior majoring in Bio, minoring in Data Science, and coterming in Epidemiology & Clinical Research. I think chemistry is the awkward middle child of the STEM family - it requires not only solid logical and mathematical reasoning, but memory of waaaaayy too many reactions, and that's what can make it so tricky. But like any child, give it enough time and love and it can turn into something beautiful! Outside of class, I enjoy volunteering with the Cardinal Free Clinics, playing Just Dance, designing board games, and (if you couldn't tell from my corny metaphors) writing rap battles in the style of Epic Rap Battles of History!
Robert Igbokwe, Chemistry

Hi y'all! My name's Robert, and I'm a Computer Science major and math minor with hopes of attending medical school. But outside of those interests, I really love dancing, writing, and of course chemistry! Learning chemistry can definitely be challenging, but I believe if you have the right mindset and a good support system, it can also be fascinating and dare I say fun!
