Ananya Goyal

Ananya Goyal (she/her) is a Peer Academic Coach at the Center for Teaching and Learning. She received her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Rochester, where she worked with students as a tutor and peer academic adviser. Currently, Ananya is in her 3rd year of her Ph.D. in Bioengineering at Stanford, and her research is focused on imaging of joint function using PET-MRI methods in people with osteoarthritis. She is passionate about teaching, mentoring and learning, and hopes to contribute to a positive student experience. Ananya is excited to work with students one-on-one and help them gain the tools they need to succeed academically. Outside of academics, Ananya enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants and cafes, and spending time with friends and family.
